on instagram:  Moroccan inspired mini bites.  Cannot wait to go check out the new Revolve Pop Up Shop at The Grove.  Loved seeing all the glamorous fashion from the Melbourne Cup.  Jacin of Lovely Details just killing it with her Halloween couple's costume.

on instagram:  This donut shop in Koreatown is going to be a part of my life very soon.  Probably heading to Forever21 asap to buy this jacket!  Drake realized 3 new songs this weekend- enough said.  A fun alternative to the classic bacon wrapped date- the bacon wrapped butternut squash.  Love these vampire inspired cocktail garnishes for Halloween.  This dinner among the cypress trees seems pretty perfect.  

on pinterest:  Even though I'm not vegetarian, I love to try out different raw or vegan recipes and this garlic cashew dip sounds amazing.  A dramatic dining room with gorgeous deep blue walls. 

on the internets:  This video of T-pain's little desk session with NPR is going to be the best 13 minutes of your day. Trust. 

on my wishlist:  Obviously this shirt.  Self Portrait killing it as usual with this unique cocktail dress.  I love these upholstered chairs from Target- especially the fabric.  I know the gold animal placecard thing has been kind of played out, but I still like it.

on instagram: This ottoman might just be the perfect piece of furniture for those who love to entertain.  I would like to completely copy this bathroom in a future home.  Another fun restaurant opening in DTLA to add to our list!  Lately, I have been obsessed with trying to find some dining chairs like these that have a metal base and upholstered chair.  

on pinterest: Chic pumpkin decor.  These mini caramel apples look delicious and easy to make!  Another fall outfit inspiration- if only it would cool down just a bit in California. 

on my kindle:  My copy of Elements of Style by Erin Gates finally came in the mail and I. Am. Obsessed.  It such a wonderful inspiration for home decor and would make a great gift for the upcoming holiday season.

on my wishlist:  You guys.....this Rebecca Minkoff purse is haunting me.  I must have it.  Of course the agony of picking is a color is no small struggle.

on instagram: Dying over this "almond in case of emergency" pocket in this purse.  Living vicariously and missing Paris dearly by looking through Corals & Cognacs travels there right now.  A great idea for a Halloween party- have a simple costume bar for those who refuse to show up in costume.  Carole Radziwill is by far my favorite housewife and this sweatshirt makes me love her even more!  I need this shirt. on pinterest:  Love the simple drama of these magnolia blooms- now I just need to hunt down a magnolia tree to steal some from!  Probably the ultimate fall meal- white bean and sausage soup in a pumpkin bowl. 

on the blogs:  Bridal week just hit NYC this past week and even though I have no need for a wedding dress in my life, I still love to swoon over all the gorgeous gowns!

I'm now desperately scouring eBay for it!  Living vicariously through Margo & Me's Italian coast vacation.  Wish I had space for these amazing chairs from Sun Beam Vintage. 

on pinterest:  Starting to pin lots of fall inspired recipes with my two favorite ingredients- pumpkin and butternut squash.  Recipe for bacon butternut squash quiche here and recipe for pumpkin gnocchi here.  Simple but impactful dining room inspiration. 

on the blogs:  There was so much good interior inspiration on my blog roll this week including a full house tour of Sarah Yates Palm Springs home that literally is killing it with every single room and a fabulous living room makeover from The Hunted Interior (that inspired me to make a big purchase for our own living room!). 

on my wishlist: My wishlist this week is a whole bunch of random stuff starting off with these fabulous malachite rocks glasses (would be a great hostess gift since the set is only $25!),  this fabulous Three Floor dress,  riding boot inspired rain boots and the fanciest dog bed you ever saw (if it wasn't over $400 I probably would have bought it already!).

on the blogs:  The Hunted Interior's new living room inspiration is right up my alley- especially the rug which is surprisingly affordable!

on my wishlist:  This week's wishlist features two amazing bar options.  The Layla bar cart from Urban Outfitters is surprisingly affordable at only $149- makes me re-consider my statements about not wanting a bar cart in our place.  This leather upholstered bar from West Elm pretty much stopped me in my tracks- it is pretty pricey, but how amazing would this be in your home?!?

on instagram: The SLS in Vegas opened last weekend and they clearly know the way to my heart with their pool area design.  A girly package in Paris.  Mini olive oil cakes perfect for a Fall get together.  Obsessed with the new "shop" edit on They All Hate Us. 

on pinterest:  Now that we are back living in a loft, I'm back on the bigger is better train of thought when it comes to furniture, art, etc and I love the impact this massive black & white print brings to the room.  I love this quote.

on the blogs:  Just discovered Nomad Luxuries blog via her home tour on The Every Girl and I was immediately obsessed with her fabulous interior design taste and jealousy inducing travel posts. 

on the internets:  A few weeks back, I got to spend a day at Claire from The Kitchy Kitchen's home shooting some fun bridal shower inspiration she was putting together for Martha Stewart Weddings.  The bohemian flower crown shower inspiration is now live on the site complete with delicious recipes!  

on my wishlist:  A simple jersey t-shirt dress in an interesting fabric.  I love a good boyfriend blazer- especially this peacoat inspired version.  A gorgeous pink lace dress from DVF.

on instagram:  The chicest engagement party outfits I have ever seen!  The perfect tee shirt. How cool is this magnetic hourglass?!  Fun retro inspired "mine" and "ours" cocktail glasses. 

on pinterest:  I went on a little bit of Pinterest overload this week!  I love these oversized DIY doorstoppers (especially for the doors in our place that laugh at regular ones).  The spicy salad version of last week's friday cocktail!  I would die to have this massive ice cream sandwich cake for my next birthday.  Baked zucchini chip flavors sound delicious and healthy. 

on the blogs:  A truly adorable engagement party on 100 Layer Cake featuring the gray version  of our outdoor cabana. 

on the internets:  I agree with everything on this list about Paris except for the part about the love locks-  as cheesy as they might be they are also very romantic and don't require long wait times like every other touristy thing in Paris. 

on my wishlist:  Revolve is just killing it right now and making me want everything like this simple black jumpsuit, this insane gold sequined maxi and this cutout dress from Rachel Pally.  I would also love to add this glam ice bucket and cheeky cocktail napkin set to our bar accessories.

What an amazing idea for a birthday party right?!  That kind of girly glamour home decor that I love.  You guys- I am obsessed with watching Watch What Happens Live (especially Andy Cohen's adorable dog!).  Lime Tequila Granita sounds like the perfect after dinner treat for a Palm Springs trip.

in real life:  This weekend might be one of the best weekends of my life: spending Saturday night at The Parker Palm Springs with some girlfriends and then seeing Beyonce back in LA on Sunday night!!

on my wishlist:  A simple asymmetric crepe dress from ASOS in a punch pink.  The most romantic robe from Stone Cold Fox.  I have been obsessed with grey jeans lately and these are the perfect shade from Black Orchid.

on pinterest:  I want to recreate this floral display of fresh white hydrangeas in silver trophies- its the perfect mix of vintage and preppy.  How amazing is this escort card display with a painting seemingly coming to life with fresh flowers!?  Flutterfetti is one of my favorite brands of confetti and Oh Happy Day has a great diy tutorial on how to make it yourself!

in real life: Spent last Saturday making flower crowns with one of my besties at The Kitchy Kitchen's home- is there a better way to spend a Saturday?!?!

on instagram:  Chris and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Bar Ama last week- discovering all the new restaurants that have opened in dtla since we have been gone is going to be really fun over the next couple months!  Maybe the most epic pool float.  A dreamy little poolside set up.  Midwest patriotism at its best on the 4th. 

on pinterest:  An over the top party display- would make for a great photobooth back drop.  Lush greenery inspiration for our deck. 

in the magazines:  Our new building has a great roof top complete with really nice grills so I have been bookmarking good grilling recipes like this set of grilled salads from Bon Appetit.

on instagram: A fabulous (and easy!) idea for a hostess gift from The Kitchy Kitchen.  Probably the most glam breakfast in bed I have ever seen from The Luxe Report gals!  Insane custom stand for a bathroom.  I am a total sucker for a gorgeous summer maxi dress and Hallie is killing it with this one.

on pinterest:  A fresh and healthy recipe for mango and zucchini lettuce wraps - perfect for a lazy summer lunch. 

in real life:  This week we were celebrating Chris' graduation from Kellogg with tons of fun events including a big gala last night in Chicago at the breathtaking Union Station. 

on the blogs: OBSESSED with this idea for a mimosa bar with the different juices placed in vintage decanters at this boho bridal shower. 

on my wishlist:  This white blazer-like dress reminds me of something Bianca Jagger would wear- so I need one.  A great color for a pencil skirt in the perfect fabric from Revolve Clothing.  I love the cut of this exaggerated sweetheart dress as well as the gorgeous print (plus the price is amazing at only $37!).

on instagram:  Gorgeous leather accessories for a wedding weekend welcome bag.  Love following along with all the happenings in DTLA with Brigham Yen.  If this photo doesn't make you want to visit Croatia then nothing will.  I have always been obsessed with hot pink bougainvillea- would love to try to grow some on our new roof deck.  

on pinterest:  A recipe for basil coconut ice cream has now been added to my summer to do list!  Love the feminine touches of this invite suite mixed with bold stripes and kraft paper.  These rhubarb and champagne jelly shots would be fun for a girls night in!

on the blogs:  Sometimes I get too carried away with party decorations and this garland is a nice reminder that simple can make an impact too!

on my wishlist:  A fun palm leaf bikini would be perfect in Palm Springs.  I probably already own 5 plaid tops, but I'm not sure that you can ever really have enough so I'd like to get this navy and cream one from J Crew.  ShopFurbish just got in these interesting abstract beach prints- this one is my favorite.

on instagram: This is refreshing color scheme for a party.  Someone needs to buy me the "Turning up is my cardio" gym bag immediately.  I'm really loving the look of gathering various light fixtures together- especially for events, but maybe I would borrow this look for above our dining table.  The large clamshell from Zgallerie is perfect displayed with a bunch of fresh lemons. 

on pinterest:  This balloon and floral installation is breathtaking, I love it so much I almost don't know what to say.  Planters are soooo expensive especially the larger ones, but maybe I could DIY some concrete ones like these?

in real life:  As you might have seen from Instagram, I am currently traveling for the next week a half.  Starting in San Francisco right now then LA/OC for a few days and ending with 48 hours in NYC for a fun video shoot with Pinnacle Vodka. 

on the blogs:  The Hunted Interior featured an updated home tour of her space and it's pretty spectacular. 

on my wishlist:  Since we are moving to a new space soon a lot of my wishlist items have been revolving around furnishing it like this patterned pillow from Lulu & Georgia and this huge double chaise lounge for our deck.  No matter how excited I am for moving,  I would never forget about my closet so I would love to have this perfectly cut little black dress and this whimsical printed romper as well!

on instagram:  Love the scale of these presentation sized envelopes from A Fabulous Fete.  Shoe closet porn via Something Navy.  I am not ashamed to admit that over this past weekend I was glued to Instagram hoping for sneak peeks from the Kimye wedding!  With our pending move to our new (old) neighborhood, I will definitely be picking up the latest issue of LA Magazine that features DTLA on the cover!

on pinterest:  Red wine granita over vanilla ice cream sounds like the perfect dessert for a hot summer night because everyone knows that booze in dessert = happiness.  I am very intrigued by the idea of DIY-ing a ping pong table- especially one with beautiful wood grain like this.   

in the magazines:  I came across this article on tips for a stress free dinner party in one of our old issues of Bon Appetit and every single point is soooo spot on!

on my kindle:  After thoroughly enjoying By Invitation Only written by the Gilt founders, I'm thinking the next two books for my kindle should be The Glitter Plan (written by the Juicy Couture founders) and Girl Boss (written by the Nasty Gal founder). 

on the blogs:  How to perfectly style a console table from The Hunter Interior- this simple arrangement seems foolproof and I'll definitely be trying it in our next place!

on my wishlist:  Wedding season is upon us so I will need this gorgeous teal halter dress, this insane Badgley Mischka sequin number and this simple black one shoulder gown in additional to this clutch in my favorite color combination and these earrings.
