{packing for a park city wedding weekend}

I could not be more excited to be on my way to Park City, Utah to celebrate the wedding of two of my favorite friends, Ben & Terra.  Ben and I went to school together through elementary, junior and high school and Terra was my maid of honor.  On top of all that, Chris and I actually lived with Ben & Terra for two and half years in our Silverlake house when we first moved to Los Angeles so this wedding is really close to my heart.  Ben and Terra have been together for over 12 years so they aren't just having one night of wedding celebration, but a whole wedding weekend which meant that I found myself packing for a lot of different events!

I have been travelling quite a bit this summer and I don't normally do run downs of my packing list, but I am so excited to wear all these outfits that I thought it might be fun to share a little peek at my suitcase contents!

{bachelorette gift bags}

The past weekend, I had my bachelorette party at The Parker with all my favorite ladies.  We had a truly great time sipping cocktails poolside and dancing the night away.  Before heading out to the desert, I put together some small gift bags as a "Thank You" for all my friends' hard work with my bridal shower and bachelorette planning.  I purchased some simple canvas tote bags and used iron-on transfer paper to affix a big red fabric heart on the side of each bag.  Then I filled each one with a mini champagne, lolita glasses, confetti and my favorite lipstick.

My girlfriends truly spoiled me this weekend.  I was surprised with a decorated hotel room, another set of fun gift bags, pink poufs for each girl to wear, champagne cocktails and of course, a veil to wear out on the town. Here are a few snapshots from our weekend....

{bachelorette}

This weekend, I am headed out to the fabulous Parker Palm Springs for my bachelorette weekend with all my favorite ladies.  First I will be wrapping up some wedding details with our coordinator and bakery.  After that,  I cant wait to be poolside with a cocktail in hand and dancing the night away in this little outfit:

{recent outfits}

I can't believe we are almost halfway through May!  I feel like Spring has been here for only an instant and summer is only days away.  On top of all that the warm weather has been off and on here.  Here are some recent outfits from the past week of unpredictable weather:

 {F21 striped tank, Zara Leather skirt, H&M cardigan, Chloe "edith" bag, Steve Madden Lace up heels}

I am really fortunate to work at a company that basically lets us wear whatever we want to work.  I am also surrounded by artistic and fun coworkers who have amazing style.

 {H&M silk maxi dress, H&M canvas/leather belt, INC leather jacket}

The other night after dinner, Chris and I decided to get dressed up and go across the street for some dessert at Syrup.  Although they are most famous for their waffles, I opted for some Scoops brand ice cream in classic flavors; strawberry, french vanilla and dulce de leche.

 {Tashkent booties, Yummy Pocket phone case/wallet, Haute Hippie racerback tank dress, H&M military jacket}

This unpredictable weather has made me obsessed with my new blush colored military jacket from H&M; the jacket is purposefully unlined which makes it extremely lightweight and comfortable. I am sure it will be a staple even through summer.

{packing for San Francisco}

Before I moved to Los Angeles two and half years ago, I lived in San Francisco for three years going to school.  Fortunately for me, my family moved up to wine country right before I moved back to southern California so I always have a reason to visit. I will be up in the city and out in Sonoma for the next 4 days which means I need to pack for a variety of activities. I am also really horrible at not over-packing so I try to force myself to pick out every single outfit and then only bring those items. Here are some I am considering...

 {Jeffrey Campbell moccasins, H&M military jacket, American Apparel infinity scarf, F21 belt, Frenchi silk racerback tank}

 {Chloe "Tracy" bag, Phillip Lim military jacket, Frenchi racerback tank, J Brand Black jeans, J. Crew flats}

 {Reformed silk shirt-dress, INC leather jacket, vintage Gucci clutch, Tashkent tie back booties}

{J Brand black jeans, American Apparel infinity scarf, Dolce Vita boots, Zara silk blouse, vintage Gucci purse, wine wipes!}

These plus a few others and I should be good to go!
