{glam style app: globetrotter edition}

The newest edition of the Glam Style App might just be my favorite one yet!  It's their Globetrotter edition filled with packing lists, outfit inspiration and trip itineraries for destinations around the world including a section all about Paris from yours truly.  Here's a few snapshots from the app and you can get all the details by downloading it for your Ipad or Iphone right here!

{friday cocktail: basil margarita}

I'm starting to realize basil might be one of my favorite cocktail ingredients (see recipes using it here, here, here, & here!) so why not try it out in a classic margarita in honor of Cinco de Mayo this coming Monday!  I based this cocktail off of a classic Tommy's Margarita then increased the agave nectar to make it a bit sweeter and muddled in fresh basil to add a fun herbal flavor.  The best past (and the part that makes people think you spent half a day making this drink when in fact you spent about 10 minutes) is the basil sugar/salt mixture used to rim the glass.  Simply mix together a few spoonfuls of sugar and sugar then muddle in fresh basil leaves to infuse a slight basil taste to the garnish!  I hope you enjoy this one alongside some tasty tacos and guacamole this weekend!

{what i loved this week}

on instagram:  Sneak peeks at some of the adorable products coming out for the summer edition of Oh Joy's Target collab.  One of my favorite brands celebrating their 25 year anniversary this past week (also I need the pink gown in that photo).  Definitely going to try to hunt down these birthday cake M&Ms - is that even real??!  A simple summer hair DIY.

on my kindle:  Two of my favorite blogs currently have books on pre-order!  How Sweet Eats has penned a cookbook called Seriously Delish  and Elements of Style has an interior design and home decor focused book under her blog name. 

on the blogs:  This new to me blog, Seams for a Desire,  is where I spent 45 minutes this past week scrolling through her archives obsessing over almost every outfit.

on my wishlist:  This impeccably tailored graphic dress from Black Halo.  A simple black satchel from Rebecca Minkoff - at a great price point as well!  Love the neoprene swimsuits from Australian brand, Triangl.
