{paris: week three}

This week with Chris away at classes during the day out at HEC, I got to explore this beautiful city on my own which is something I really love doing (being entertained alone is one of the skills and perks of growing up as an only child).  I continue to be completely amazed by this city especially when I'm simply walking around and the gorgeous architecture/history just hits you in the face at every turn.  In the past 7 days we drank Margaritas here, explored the Japanese quarter here, ate some mind-blowing pastries from here and got some work done at the prettiest Starbucks you ever did see.  I'm starting to feel like I really may never return from this trip...

 {street crepes. my go-to is the nutella/banana}

 {just a parisian dog chillin off leash on the sidewalk.}

{don't you dare walk on this grass. it's just a big expanse of random grass perfect for lounging, but you can't sit here. move along. seriously wtf paris?! this is my one dislike with this city}

 {gorgeous dome at the Galleries Lafayette}

 {I've talked about Chris' love for all asian food before so it's no surprise that we lunched in the mini Japanese area by the Louvre on some delicious Ramen at this place}

  2. I would highly recommend checking out the restaurant in the Musee d'Orsay. It's a gorgeous room and I have such great memories of sipping champagne and enjoying the view of the river while on vacation in Paris a few years ago. I'm loving your posts and can't wait to go back!

  3. Gorgeous photos. It's like an endless sea of inspiration there! I hope to visit one day. I had to giggle at the Parisian dog comment. I wonder if his bark has an accent to American dogs ;).

  5. Gahhh so gorge! I also highly recommend the musee d'orsay! It is my fav museum in Paris, it used to be a train station and the architecture is stunning. I am not sure if they still have this store there but when I would visit family in Paris when I was younger I got all of my undergarments at Etam. Really cute and well made bras and panties at a decent price. Have you guys been to a supermarche yet? Auchon and Carrefour are amazing. Bisous!
