{an early wedding gift}

Last weekend before our pumpkin carving party, our good friends Ben and Terra (my maid of honor) surprised us with an early wedding gift!!!  They knew we desperately needed a coffee table to go alongside our sectional on the deck.  So rather than wait another 6 months to give it to us (potentially risking us buying one for ourselves in the meantime), they designed and built one for us themselves.  Ben is a very talented architect and created this table for us completely from scratch.  Here are some photos Ben took of the process....

We are beyond excited to have this new addition to our deck.  It fits in perfectly with our style and the other furniture we already have out there.  Plus there are so many different possibilities for how to use the levels underneath!  We are also very lucky to have such talented friends...thanks Ben & Terra!
