{mini veggie burger sliders}

 I love food in mini form- so much so that I have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to it. Although we aren't vegetarians, we do try to eat a vegetarian diet during the week.  We decided to make veggie burgers for dinner last night and instead of picking up regular buns, I bought the mini sesame seed slider buns from Trader Joes. Unfortunately veggie burger patties do not come in slider size and you cant exactly mash them together and re-form them like regular ground beef.  We solved this problem by simply making them into triangles then topped them with micro greens, tomato and avocado.  I think these would make a great vegetarian appetizer option!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

  1. I love miniature anything, food included! Trader Joes is the greatest, I didn't know they had mini burger buns. Looks like I have a plan for appetizers for the Pacquiao fight on Saturday night.

    Thank you!

  2. Yes Trader Joes is a treasure trove of mini food! Have you ever seen the mini tacos they sell in the frozen aisle?!? They also sell slider sized ground beef patties if you are pressed for time!
