{champagne & desserts birthday party}

This past Friday, we celebrated my friend Heather's birthday with a little champagne & desserts themed party at my place!  You can see the original inspiration board for the party right here.  I absolutely loved how this party turned out.  Just a few champagne cocktail recipes and a sprinkling of desserts mixed with pink and sparkly decorations created the perfect setting to ring in a fabulous birthday.  Here are some snapshots from the party and later this week I'll give you all the details on the champagne cocktail set up plus some freeeee printables!

 {desserts set up}

 {the gold sequin tablecloth that keeps on giving- originally from the sequins & bowties party}

 {one of my favorite wedding registry gifts- gold flatware from here}

 {gold & ivory tissue poms from BHLDN & the DIY glitter letter banner}

 {champagne cocktail set up}

 {pomegranate seeds for champagne cocktails in a vintage cocktail coupe}

 {the cutest bow tie bottle stopper from BHLDN}

 {snickerdoodle cupcakes- one of my favorite box-mix recipes}

 {festive jelly beans}

 {white chocolate dipped oreos with birthday sprinkles}

 {classic cheesecake cut into two-bite portions and topped with a fresh raspberry}

 {key lime tarts cut into bite size portions}

  1. Oh my gosh - totally wanting to try the snickerdoodle cupcakes! What kind of icing did you use? It looks lovely and smooth compared to the piped example on the link. Just curious...

    1. i used the same icing as the recipe in the link- but I did pipe it onto these cupcakes using a ziploc bag with a small hole cut in the corner!

      Hope that helps!

    1. Hi D.

      It is simply 3.5 yards of 60 inch wide gold sequin fabric!

      I purchased mine in downtown Los Angeles in the fabric district.

      Hope that helps!

  14. Would love to know the font names you used for your signage! Your parties are amazing, I just made a glitter card stock "COCKTAILS" sign and the multicolored tissue paper garland. Your directions are exact to a T (giving the font size, width length of tissue paper) thank you!

  17. Hi Natalie.

    Do you mind sharing the name of the Fabric store that you purchased your gold sequin tablecloth.

    Planning on making a trip to Downtown in the next week or so.

    Thanks in advance!

    1. Hi Abbee!

      I was just at the store that sells it recently and they dont have any BUT there are plenty of fabric stores right by it that do. Just go to the intersection of Maple and 8th!

      Hope that helps!
